Larissa is an artist, published children's book author/illustrator and pattern designer with many strings to her bow.
She uses analogue techniques like pen & ink, gouache and watercolour to create expressive, memorable patterns & illustrations.

Heart of Gold
In 2021 Larissa founded the Australian perinatal bereavement care charity
Possum Portraits. This charity provides bereaved parents with keepsake portraits of babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death free of charge.
Polymath
By temperament, Larissa seeks variety. She was the assistant project manager of an Australian gold mining company's operations in Peru before being employed as a development fund consultant in Berlin...that was before running a charity in Australia.
been there
Larissa is fluently trilingual and has lived on three continents (Germany, UK, Peru and Australia). She now lives and works in Melbourne with her partner and two children, where she had her first children's book, "The House in Ollie's Tummy", published in 2024.
